RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi all - I'm not using CRU for overclocking or upping refresh rates, but rather just adding a new 3:2 resolution to a Surface Book 3. This process was pretty simple with the Surface Book 2 - just added a detailed resolution at 60Hz and CRU did the rest. With the Surface Book 3, it resets to a black screen each time I attempt to add the new res and restart.
The monitor natively has a 3000x2000 resolution and I'm attempting to add 1920x1280 at 60Hz. It uses both Intel Iris and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. I have a suspicion I'm missing a detail in the list of detailed specs that I didn't need to change previously. If so, how do I make sure that info is correct? Any ideas? Thanks |
