If so, can I recognize DP version?

So, how do I modify the timing parameter values?
PLEASE everyone... This topic very very heavy.. I cant find the desired answer..
please tell me, how to do that with Intel HD (4400).

HDMI support is always required for audio to work. I don't see how it would work without it. Show me what you did. Export a file and post it here.

my doubts are:
Timings: should i select an automatic timer? if so wich one? or should i go for the manual? if so what values should i introduce on: front and back porch, sync with blanking and total , horizontal frequency pixel clock and interlaced?
Just use whatever works. For lower resolutions, "LCD standard" works fine in most cases. It will calculate everything for you. Don't choose interlaced.

It is possible if I buy an external 60Hz/114Hz and plug it into the HDMI port of my laptop to experience higher refresh rate?
Thank you.
60 Hz will work with HDMI with an external monitor. 120/144 Hz monitors require dual-link DVI or DisplayPort.

I doubt it will work. That block is for setting the HDMI FreeSync range. You'll need a video card and monitor that supports FreeSync with HDMI.

I don't have a way to check the DisplayPort version. It should support DisplayPort 1.2 if it supports FreeSync, but it might not be negotiating the correct speed. I can't do anything about that.

Use the timing options in the detailed resolution dialog, or change the numbers manually and see if anything changes.

That's what the first post is for, and the front page links directly to it. I don't expect people to look through 300 pages.

thank you for your information.
I looked up what you said and this page states exactly the same and in addition to that I can use HDMI 3.0 or higher.

With my lack of knowledge I don't even know if my Lenovo Y50 can plug any of those 3 in?
edit: it has an hdmi port thats all I assure.

I contacted the manufacturer about this, but have not heard it yet. They also say that they are errors in the graphics card properties, but I think they do not know much about this issue.

I tried to modify the value in the option but did not get a satisfactory result. I had to fix the resolution itself. (1440 -> 1436) However, I did not do that because this is not considered a complete solution.
