I was using CRU till last thursday, everything was working fine. I had to format my laptop (Acer v5-591g, samsung syncmaster 920NW, vga cable). After format I installed some Windows 10 Update things. I was trying to use drivers that ive been using before(https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa...ta-15-45-#) but im not able to install them. Sometimes it installs but nothing happens, sometimes i get error with "you are not able to meet minimum requirements". I tried everything: installing Acer stock driver, uninstall it---> install new driver, uninstall driver via Device manager--->install new driver. But nothing works. Please help! Thanks
I'm using 64bit system, I7-6700HQ and GTX950m
I don't know where to find drivers for your laptop. Have you installed the chipset drivers? You might need to do that first. If that doesn't help, try installing the NVIDIA driver first.

My method:
Windows10+GTX770->HDMI 2.0-Cable->Samsung HT-F5500->HDMI 2.0-Cable->Samsung UE55JS8090

Problem: only 30Hz available (only 29Hz at 4096x2160), TV can do much more. NVIDIA-Custom-Resolution does not work (I can "test" 60Hz but it delivers only 30 or 29). Changes with CRU do not appear in Windows 10 / NVIDIA-Control-Center.

If i connect GPU and TV directly via HDMI (and 5.1-HT via Toslink or ARC), I can choose 60Hz without any problems, but have no 5.1-Sound (already tried a miliion things too). So this is not really a solution.

What am I doing wrong?
The HT-F5500 does not support HDMI 2.0. You can try adding an HDMI 2.0 data block in the extension block, but there's no guarantee that will work.
The problem is that I have my Acer drivers, but they dont support CRU. I don't know why it isnt working like before format.I have my chipset drivers installed.
Hi to all. I'm from Russia - and my English is not good Smile
I need help in using the program - i want add/changes some more modes, 1080@23.976, 1080@24, 1080@59.97, 1080@60 for perfect smooth video playback.
I have GIGABYTE GTX 960 + LG 47LM620T(connected through Yamaha RX-V471).
Here some screen from CRU:

Where should I add this modes ?? What to do with those modes that are already in the system(1080@24, 1080@60), How can I change them ??
Is anyone aware of a command line utility that can switch GPU scaling on and off?

You can't add both 23.976 Hz and 24 Hz because Windows will list both as 24 Hz. The same applies to 59.97 Hz and 60 Hz. You might be able to add 23.976 Hz as 23 Hz and 59.97 Hz as 59 Hz with the NVIDIA control panel, and you can tweak 24 Hz and 60 Hz with CRU.

I'm not sure what you're asking. You can add them as detailed resolutions in the main window or in extension blocks, and you can edit or delete existing resolutions. You don't need 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz twice, so you can delete one of them and edit the other. If you don't need 3D support, delete the TV resolutions data block and add 24 Hz as a detailed resolution so you can tweak it. You can also delete the HDMI support data block and add a new one with the default settings to remove the 3D information and bring it down to 8 bytes.

Try this: reload.zip

It just sets GPU scaling to whatever the current setting is for each monitor, which seems to be enough to reload the overrides. If you have multiple monitors, there might be a lot of on/off flickering while it does this because the driver is crazy.
Can we put that anywhere on the bootup sequence?

Try putting it in the shell:startup folder.
Hi! I've used this program before on the same system to overclock my monitor. However, I'm trying it again after over a year with the exact same system and exact same monitor (however with updated windows and drivers) and yet the new refresh rates are not recognized. It only shows the default 60Hz as an option.

System is as follows:
Windows 10 Pro x64
i7 6700k
AMD RX 480 with latest drivers
Monitor is Dell P2214h

I even tried using the AMD software to overclock monitor with success but it resets every time I restart PC
