It's possible on a few monitors without scalers. It won't work with most monitors unless the scaler happens to support FreeSync.

V32F390F service menu contain FS settings, but they don't change anything concerning of FS support.
Does it make sense to flash it with firmware from V27F390F?
I don't think it will let you flash it with the wrong firmware. If it does, you risk making the monitor inoperable.

OK
I having black screens when I activate the FS, and/or in most refresh rates set by CRU (in range up to 60Hz). Is this evidence that V32F390F scaler does not support the FS and custom resolution/refresh rate settings?
Vouch!

Got 4 x 4k Sceptre Monitors. Immediately had issues with HDMI/DisplayPort. 2 x monitors went to 4k, the other 2 1024/768 max. LCDs were not registering correct model in device manager, just generic plug and play and non plug and play (2x each)...

Was very sad... initial research indicated NO drivers available... and the video cards (2x1070gtx) had proper drivers, after all, two monitors WERE working correctly...

I found i needed to order 1.4ver Displayport cables per another message board...

But, why would it work for two? I didnt have ANY dp 1.4...

Then i found this utility... Props author, well made. Not only was it intuitive, but it solved my problem 2 days before the cables i ordered arrive... SWEET!!!!!!!

I donated 5$ to Toasty... Well deserved! Thanks for the free software, EVERYONE should donate to you for this awesome utility.

and if your having problems getting it to work... dont forget to restart your computer!

I have an AOC E2450SD 60hz TN monitor.
I got it to hit 75hz with the driver patch. Do DVI monitors have a scaler? I am trying to enable freesync with a range of 55-74hz (monitors spec sheet says its range is 55-76hz vertical).
I used the HDMI block OC'd to 660MHz along with the freesync module but after a reboot the driver still detects the monitor as DVI-D not HDMI. That means it wont allow the freesync option to be available. There are other AOC monitors with 2460 in their model number that support freesync at 75hz. They have the same panel as mine. Is there anything im doing wrong in my configuration

That's either a bad connection or a bad panel. Make sure the panel is compatible with your laptop.

I think this monitor isn't compatible with my laptop, but can changing refresh rate solve my problem?
or is there other solution?

If its an internal screen then check that the connection between the display board and motherboard is not loose or seated wrong. The controller should be telling the laptop what refresh rate to use, however as its not designed for your laptop it may not be doing so correctly. Make sure its 60hz in CRU just to be safe.
I am using HP Pavillion G4 running AMD Radeon 7600M and Intel Graphics 3000.

Let me add that i have successfully patched the drivers with this tool atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5.

My issue is that when i change my resolution using "cru-1.3.1" and restart64, after the graphics driver is restarted, the set resolution is not applied.

My resolution remains 1366x768 even though i have set it to 1920x1080 using cru-1.3.1

I have tried with lower resolutions like 1600x900 but still nothing happens. It remains 1366x768 no matter what. I have tried deleting all other resolutions except one but nothing happens. Please help me. What am i missing or doing wrong?
Hey all!
I had my 4k TV (30Hz) working perfectly for a year using CRU until the TV did a mandatory update 3 days ago. Now I get a green halo around lines/text. This is strange because my color settings in the TV's menu didn't seem to change during the update. What do I need to do to get rid of it?

I don't understand why you are using CRU for this. The TV should support 3840x2160 @ 30 Hz out of the box. Are you using HDMI? Your config doesn't make sense for HDMI because that would send a DVI signal, which normally wouldn't work correctly with a TV beyond 165 MHz pixel clock without patching the graphics driver. What GPU do you have?

If your laptop has two GPUs, then the Intel GPU controls the outputs. Intel's driver does not support EDID overrides with 3000-series and older GPUs, so you can't use CRU. You have to use Intel's control panel to add custom resolutions. Secondly, you can't add non-native resolutions to a laptop because they don't have scalers. CRU is for adding monitor resolutions, not scaled resolutions. Lower resolutions might work if GPU scaling is enabled, but higher resolutions are not possible with CRU.
