I need more details. What video card and monitor? Are you using DisplayPort? HDMI? What resolutions are you adding?

This is probably a patcher issue. There must be a new limit. Can you check if you can add a resolution under 330 MHz pixel clock and between 330-340 MHz? I'm thinking there's another limit that prevents resolutions beyond 340 MHz from showing up, but I don't have a way to test it myself.

Tried 82, 83 and 84 Hz
82 working (333 pixel clock)
83 working (338 pixel clock)
84 NOT working (342 pixel clock)
over 84 not working... Looks like 340 Hz limit...

339 MAX can't go further which limits my monster monitor's refresh rate to just 150hz at 1440x1080
BUT in nvidia's custom resolution I can reach 500+ and apply it on desktop but not in some games
....so how is that a patcher issue ? im dying over here

NVIDIAs custom resolution should work without patching.
Hi, I asked a question "Does anyone own the Samsung CRG9, or another Super Ultrawide like it? If so, can you post me what timings you used." But no one responded. I assume no one here has this kind of monitor or similar.
Can you help me teak the settings to get 144hz stable? I haven't messed around with the timings. I'm not as used to tuning timings at this resolution using display port 1.4. 144hz works right off the bat but with missing frames. This is using the Nvidia control panel only, Freesync off. Haven't used cru. Don't know if that would make much a of a difference. Don't know if overdrive should be on or off? Also wanted to know if it was possible to get 165hz at 6bits with the bandwidth Display Port 1.4 provides at my native resolution (5120x1440p)?
it is claimed by other people who own it that it can do 144hz no probs at it's native resolution. When I select it, it does set it without issues, but when I run the ufo test there are skipped frames. So something tells me it could be down to a timing issue? Any suggestions to tweak it would be helpful?
8bpc = blank screen. Still under the required 1080hz needed for 8-bit 144hz 5120x1440p
Default timings = works, but 6bpc, frame skipping.
