I had absolutely no problems doing this on a GTX 1060 before but now with a 6800XT the only way I can make Windows to show both "60" (60 Hz) and "59" (59,94 Hz) refreshes is to use the Adrenalin driver to make at least that custom 59,94 resolution, and those only work when GPU scaling is disabled Huh.
That's never been possible. Windows only supports one of each refresh rate, and 59.94 Hz rounds to 60 Hz. "59 Hz" is an alias for 60 Hz, not a separate refresh rate.

Of course it is, that's just how I've been using your software for the past four and a half years: 59,94 Hz was shown as "59" and 60 Hz was shown as "60".

It still is like that right now, in fact, but I had to use the Adrenalin software.

No, that's not how it works. If you add 59.94 Hz with CRU, it gets listed as 60 Hz. If 60 Hz also exists, then the first resolution takes precedence. Then 59 Hz gets added as an alias of 60 Hz, perhaps with the pixel clock adjusted to be 59.94 Hz, but all the other parameters are the same.

Adrenalin custom resolutions are different because you can specify both the listed refresh rate and the actual refresh rate, and they don't have to match.

I guess that's the way it is with these cards, but I still find it strange that adding 59,94 Hz to the CRU list on the 1060 makes Windows show both a 60 and a 59 options but not on AMD, which still only shows the 60 one. Thanks for the explanations though.

Try this driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29972
Installed it, no big help. Still not showing my new profiles. Irony is my second monitor have all profiles that I created showing up, just this B2230 that nothing happens.
I'm able to create lower n higher resolution profiles with custom hz though, just something not working with 1920x1080p. There's a math to follow about how much lower resolution do I need to be able to increase hz refresh or are they not correlated?
hello guys, i wanna ask about weird issue with my GPU (HD7870).
so, i connecting the GPU with PC monitor via HDMI when it tun on and boot logo show up, the display detect as "1920x1080 60Hz", but when entering the login screen it will change and detect as "1080p 60Hz". I think the GPU detect the PC monitor as LCD TV.

i have raspberry, and if this happen i easily change the setting 'HDMI group' from CEA to DMT. so i need tutorial how to change that in windows? i already download the latest CRU but i dont know what to do. thanks

CEA and DMT use the same timing parameters for 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz, so I don't see how that makes a difference. It's probably sending a DVI signal while booting, then switches to HDMI when the driver loads. Also, DVI only supports RGB, while HDMI supports RGB and YCbCr, but you can set the pixel format in Radeon Settings. Is there a problem with the HDMI signal? Deleting the "HDMI support" data block in the CTA-861 extension block will make it send a DVI signal.

The hardware might be able to support interlaced resolutions, but the driver does not for newer GPUs. NVIDIA RTX GPUs don't support interlaced resolutions either.

Hi ToastyX,
as far as you know, does the new Nvidia MX450 GPU support interlaced resolutions?

TIA, ciao
How is CRU to be removed because I don't see it listed under remove apps in Win 10 nor in CCleaner.
Or can the CRU map simply be removed via the trash can?

CRU doesn't have an installer. If you made any changes, run reset-all.exe and reboot. Then you can delete the files.
