i am sorry again, I am not a gret tech guy, I added 360 hz in extension block as display id but how to put 360 in detailed resolution. i am getting small screen Black edges on 1750*1080 as active signal resolution is still 1920*1080.
Please help Sad

What are you doing? You are overcomplicating things with extra steps, and you still didn't read the first post.

Run reset-all.exe and reboot. Then read this:

(09-07-2012 09:06 PM)ToastyX Wrote: [ -> ]NVIDIA: CRU can only read the first extension block because the driver has a bug that prevents reading additional extension blocks. NVIDIA also does not support default extension blocks, so delete any default extension blocks and add one manually if needed. The second extension block is usually a DisplayID extension block with detailed resolutions greater than 655.35 MHz pixel clock such as 1920x1080 @ 360 Hz and 2560x1440 @ 165 Hz.

So delete the default extension block, add a DisplayID 1.3 extension block, and then add 1920x1080 @ 360 Hz (if you still want it) and 1750x1080 @ 360 Hz as detailed resolutions in the extension block. That's all you need to do.
Hello everyone,

Im trying to use CRU to fix my problem with 5700XT High memory clocks at iddle.

I could fix it increasing "Blanking", everything seems completly fixed.

But today i found a problem/bug, everytime i turn off my monitor my mouse stays with visual bugs, glitches, it happens everytime i turn off/turn on monitor.

If i restart default settings in CRU it stop happens.

I noticed that it has nothing to do with the settings I changed, because if i just enter in CRU and change any setting it will bug again.

What could this be?

Thanks so much (Sorry about my english)

Are you saying the mouse cursor is corrupted/garbled? That can only be an AMD driver bug.

What happens if you use SoftCursor and choose software cursor? https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-SoftCursor

If the problem doesn't happen with a software cursor, then it's definitely an AMD driver bug that you should report to them.
Hello everyone ,

Today tried to put my custom resolution as native 1750x1080 on 360 hz

But it wont work for me , the number of hz just turns red and i cant press ok .

What is the problem ?Huh

Hello again,

I was here sometime last year when I successfully added multiple native refresh rates to my laptop's 144 Hz (non-GSYNC) screen. Great for getting locked frame rates at native refresh in games that can't hit 144, which outside of esports titles is essentially all of them.

Out of the box, the laptop screen natively supports 60 and 144 Hz. However, an upgrade to Windows 11 has completely borked the rest of my working custom refresh rates for this screen, and I'm scrambling a bit to try and get them working again.

I had (and still have, to some extent) the following refresh rates, all at 1920x1080:

75 Hz
90 Hz
100 Hz
120 Hz

None of these custom refresh rates work anymore after the upgrade. 75 Hz in its current state gets me thin horizontal bars and no display, forcing me to reboot in low-resolution mode to get back out. 120 Hz and 90 Hz modes both have lines at the bottom of the screen near the taskbar, and 100 Hz essentially becomes "50 Hz" mode, where the BlurBusters stutter test shows the first two lines, reading at 100 and 50 Hz, as the exact same moving picture.

I was wondering if I could get some help reconfiguring these refresh rates properly, as they were a staple of my mobile gaming experience before upgrading. I cannot stress enough - all of these refresh rates worked just fine before the update, frequently tested with different games with RivaTuner up, all reading out properly with no issues or screen oddities. I didn't change a single figure when upgrading in CRU itself, although that's not the case anymore, as I've tried a few things with the values to no avail. As a note, I also use CRU on my desktop hooked up to my OLED, and the CRU-added 100 Hz refresh rate still works just fine in that use case after a Windows 11 upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

An update - my Intel automated assistant assumed that I was on the latest Intel Graphics driver (the laptop uses both Nvidia dedicated graphics and Intel UHD 630), when in fact I was not. After downloading the latest driver, the horizontal lines and major monitor failures are now gone. Leaving this for reference for others. I was, and still am, on the latest Nvidia Graphics Driver.

The 120 and 90 Hz CRU added detailed resolutions now work properly.

The "half refresh rate" issue still exists on both the 100 and 75 Hz modes - as in, these refresh rates log at 100 and 75 Hz, but present themselves at half their refresh rate. I could still use assistance on getting these to work properly.

Thanks.

The 1st post

Quote:EDID detailed resolutions are limited to 4095x4095 and 655.35 MHz pixel clock. If a value turns red, that means it's invalid or out of limits. Use a DisplayID extension block to add resolutions with higher limits.
