Have problem set resolution 1920x1200 by 120hz
or 1920x1080 by 120hz
i have next
1. projector viewsonic ls850wu
2. pc witch ATI hd6850
3. hdmi-hdmi 2.0 cable 5m
the small resolution is work by 120hz but in big not work only maximum work on 75hz
can you help me ?

Like it says, the second extension block is usually a DisplayID extension block, but CRU can't read it, so it appears as a default extension block, and because of an NVIDIA driver bug, you will have to delete the default extension block and add a DisplayID extension block manually (use DisplayID 1.3). Then you have to add 3440x1440 @ 144 Hz in the DisplayID extension block.

Your screenshot shows 11 bytes left. If after fixing the extension blocks the range still won't change, try adding a FreeSync data block in the CTA-861 extension block. That's only 9 bytes, so that should leave 2 bytes left.

I have the same monitor, same problem, and same goal. I tried to follow this but always ending up in recovery mode when applying the setting. I'm not much an expert in using this utility. It will much appreciated if you can share screenshots of the following for my reference:
- Adding of 3440x1440@144Hz in the DisplayID block extension (there are so many options to choose from and I don't know what actual values to select/enter)
- Values entered in the added Freesync data.

Thank you very much for the tool. I really like it. However, I'd like to add more digits when choosing the refresh rate. It's now set to 75 hz now but I want to change to 75.01000001011011010110010101101110, which is 28 digits, for personal reasons. Is there a way to modify the program in such a way it allows for unrestricted use of decimals? I tried opening the exe in visual studio but I cannot figure out what to do. Thanks in advance.

What you're asking for is impossible. The actual refresh rate is calculated from the pixel clock, which can only be specified with 2 decimal places (or 3 with DisplayID 2.0). Allowing more decimals in the refresh rate would not change the actual refresh rate because CRU rounds up to the next possible pixel clock value.
Hi, still using CRU. Some games for some reason select the lowest frequency which is 24hz on my 4K TV. I've tried making 60hz the minimum in the "range" at the top of the CRU window. I also removed all resolutions with a frequency below 60hz. However the 24hz minimum is STILL shown by Windows. Where is it coming from ? I'm pretty sure its not in the EDID anymore so my guess is that AMD (or Windows) is automatically adding it. Is there any way of stopping this ? Cheers.

I can't get down from 144 Hz to 60 Hz on my laptop, but only while in Hybrid graphics mode.
My laptop is Lenovo Legion 5 (2020), with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU (which has an integrated graphics), Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti Mobile GPU, and 144 Hz screen which only allows to use 144 Hz stock. OS is Windows 10.
When I am in Hybrid graphics mode, I used CRU to create a new resolution with 60 Hz. Other parameters I just copied from the existing 144 Hz preset. Then I can actually see 60 Hz option in the Windows 10's Display Settings, the screen blinks as if it tries to adjust to new refresh rate, but in fact nothing changes. UFO test still shows 144 Hz.
While in Nvidia GPU only mode, the same procedure allows me to actually switch to 60 Hz.
I tried wiping the GPU drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode, then installing Lenovo-provided drivers afresh, but this didn't help.
In CRU I can see three options for monitor selection. One for Hybrid mode, one from Nvidia-only, and one is just called Generic and I can't see it active in neither of GPU modes. I tried adding the 60 Hz preset in all of them, still no luck.
Do you have any ideas what should I check now? Maybe I need to collect some logs and provide them here?

Help in CSGO I don't have 1280x960 resolution , but I want to play with it, so tried to add this by CRU . But when I do this , I have black screen in CSGO , how can I play with 1280x960 , may be someone know???

Laptops can't display non-native resolutions, so you have to either enable GPU scaling in the Radeon software, or use
Scaled Resolution Editor.

That sounds like a graphics driver bug. If Windows lists 60 Hz but it acts like 144 Hz, then CRU added it correctly, but the driver is not switching refresh rates when you change it. I haven't seen many laptops with AMD/NVIDIA switchable graphics, so I don't know what limitations they have. Usually it's Intel/NVIDIA, and in that case, Intel's driver would be responsible for the resolutions, so this might be a bug in AMD's driver.
