You shouldn't need to change anything if both the monitor and GPU support 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz with YCbCr 4:2:0. YCbCr 4:2:0 resolutions are defined in the CTA-861 extension block in a 4:2:0 resolutions data block, which you can add by adding a TV resolutions data block and enabling the "4:2:0 resolutions" option. Windows will only list the resolution if the GPU driver supports it.

Or another case such as 60.000 to 60.499
I can actually only use the system default refresh rate of 60 instead of the refresh rate I set (60.XXX)
Is there a way to solve this problem?
Windows can only list one of each integer refresh rate after rounding, so anything between [59.5-60.5) Hz is considered 60 Hz and is only listed once with the first one defined taking precedence.

I tried Radeon Software

But because there is a color depth bug when modifying from Radeon Software so I looked up CRU
And that's what I saw
CRU can't have multiple settings like in the picture
After setting, it can't override the default settings of the system (60.0-60.5→60), or specifically separate out (59.5-60.0→59), no options at all, it's just ignored.
I also tried Run as administrator and it did not work
Perhaps the original design of CRU does not take into account the above situation
So I would like to ask if this feature is possible in the future
Or is this actually a bug?

As I said, this is a Windows limitation, not a CRU limitation. Radeon Software custom resolutions lets you specify which integer refresh rate to list as, even if the actual refresh rate doesn't match. CRU is an EDID override tool. There's no way to do that with EDID overrides. Refresh rates in the [59.5-60.5) Hz range are considered the same by Windows.

I will try, unfortunately the intel the hd500 like all intel graphics chips up to the new uhd700 series only supports 30hz on hdmi in 4k, I wanted to try to understand if by lowering the bandwidth it was possible to solve this problem since the graphics chip actually supports 4k 60hz on display port (which i don't have on my mb)

Yes, changing literally anything causes a black screen, and if I remember correctly, a system freeze, forcing a manual restart.
I've tried 3 different drivers from January and February, same result.
Oh well, guess I'll try Scanline Sync or just use VSYNC on the HDMI TV then.
Hello everyone. I recently setup everything to stream from my gaming rig to my LG 4k TV which supports HDR. I got a Lindy 32014 edid Emulator (
https://www.lindy.de/HDMI-10-2G-EDID-Emu...pi=32104). The manufacturer says it supports emulating an HDR signal, but in fact you need another device to emulate HDR.
I tried messing around with CRU, adding a block with HDR information, trying various settings. But it had no effect.
Is it possible to to what I am trying and if yes, how can I achieve that?

Not that I know. Adding HDR data blocks with CRU doesn't seem to have any effect.

Do you know any other solution? I saw several programs for editing Edid data, but I never heard that this standard exists before, so I have absolutely no clue what's possible with that, if there is a pure software solution, or if further hardware to rewrite the edids eeprom is needed.

Modifying the EDID is not enough for Windows to allow HDR. There must be some sort of information in the video signal.
