Im using amd 23.8.1 gpu driver and trying to add 1280x720@75hz, but after restarting the driver i get 1280x720@75hz and 1280x720@60hz. How can i delete 1280x720@60hz resolution? Im using HDMI output, already deleted everything in SRE.

So I'm at a dead end and pretty sad tbh.
I have a t570 and it has a BOE panel, 1080p60.
It is powered by an 6th Gen i5, Intel HD 520 and a 940MX in an Optimus configuration.
I have tried all Intel HD Graphics drivers, tried the EDID override, patched the Nvidia driver, added refresh rates below 100Hz.
Despite all this nothing has worked.
I'm just trying to add a refresh rate above 60Hz for the internal screen on the laptop.
I am thinking by this point there's nothing else to try, and so may be just trying to buy a 144Hz screen instead.
I had no issues on my older laptop running a 4th Gen i5 and HD + Nvidia setup...
If anyone can help I would be over the moon, I hope there's a possibility!

Intel's driver does not allow EDID overrides with some laptop screens for some reason. Intel controls the resolutions in an Optimus setup, so you'll have to ask them why they're not allowing EDID overrides.

AMD forces certain TV resolutions to exist with HDMI, but you should be able to hide them in the Windows display settings > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties > Monitor tab > enable "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display"

I was having the problem of only being able to select 60hz when using Nvidia surround and searching for a fix I ended up hear.
What works for me is copying the MSI timings and paste to both of the LG monitors restart the monitors then I can when I enable surround I get 144hz. All good
Problem is when I restart the computer it does not save and I am back to 60hz and have to do it all again.
Is it possible to save so when I restart my computer I don't have to do it all again.. thankyou
It does save, but NVIDIA's driver has a bug with Surround that can cause it to reset after rebooting when using EDID overrides. You should report that issue to NVIDIA support.

I have multiple Windows 10 machines connected to a monitor via a KVM. When I switch connected machines, the Windows on the machine I'm switching away from are shrunk and repositioned. No, CRU does not emulate monitors. You would need an EDID emulator to keep a connection, or you can use software such as
winredock or
PersistentWindows to save and restore window positions.

The 144 Hz EDID seems much more barebones than the 120 Hz one. It also seems to cause Nvidia's "do scaling on the GPU" to limit it to only 144 Hz refresh rate if VRR is enabled.
This is normal for VRR monitors. VRR is reported in the EDID, so enabling/disabling VRR in the monitor will change the EDID.
Intel's driver also has a bug that causes it to refuse to switch to the custom resolutions and refresh rates after a wake or reboot, but just running the CRU resetting tool fixes this.

Im usually able to switch to 120hz but now with this cable i dont have that option and when i use CRU doesnt work as i remember.
Been using hdmi cable dont know of what quality but it worked at 120hz
I had to switch the dvi port because the monitor is old and fell couple times so went back to good old dvi that i remember it worked with my 1080ti (Dvi to dvi)
Now im using laptop with 3050ti dedicated and it has only one hdmi port
I had it running as ive said but hdmi to hdmi (broke the cable trying to use it to the last breaths of the monitors hdmi ports lifespan hahah)
Now im stuck to 60hz and its driving me crazy headaches and all i happen to have very good astronaut like eyesight but i guess its too sensitive sometimes.
Please help! I will reward because the monitor works great for being 10 years old!

You need dual-link DVI to get 120 Hz. HDMI-DVI adapters/cables are always single-link. There's no way to convert HDMI to dual-link DVI. Adding an HDMI data block in the extension block will make the GPU send an HDMI signal, which should allow you to select 120 Hz, but the monitor might not accept a single-link signal on the DVI port. You'll have to try it and see. Some monitors will display it with a warning message, but some monitors won't let you dismiss the warning message.
