Greetings to all! Thank you for this application, it helped me set up a custom resolution and increase the frequency of the monitor, but there is such a question, is it possible to overclock it even more and how? I have a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop with a Full HD 1920x1080 monitor, the refresh rate is 120, there are 2 video cards, built-in AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, and a discrete 1650Ti. The monitor was able to overclock to 144 Hertz using your application, but I wonder if it can be overclocked to 165 or higher. I'm playing CS 2 with a resolution of 1280 by 1080 and I can go to any tricks to overclock the monitor to even higher frequencies.
Radeon Software states Custom resolutions are not compatible with clone mode, Eyefinity, and FrameLock/GenLock configurations.

Knowing this, is it possible to add a custom resolution to each monitor, and somehow make the radeon software make an eyefinity resolution, from that custom resolution?

These are the standard resolutions for the monitors, and the only resolution allowed thus is 5760x1080.
I would like a different resolution with same aspect ratio of 48:9
like 4800 x 900 for example
Reason is, my gpu struggles to make acceptable framerates in some games.
ToastyX maybe you have some idea?
Hello ToastyX whenever I create a custom resolution there is a mirrored line down the middle of my monitor, can you help me?
the resolution im trying to get is 1720x1080 Im using the Odyssey G40B 240 hz monitor connected to nvidia rtx 3060 ti, also Im using it connected via DVI port I think, im not sure, all I know is that it is not hdmi
Just signed up to say that I've used CRU here and there as I've wanted to tinker or explore limits of an old laptop monitor and so forth. Two questions I suppose:

1) Is the workflow essentially use CRU to figure out your display's limits and then use the EDID utility to write those changes to the display? (The goal here is to use two old monitors with Linux but getting all the settings correctly set up is kind of a nightmare there. Your software is just amazing for tinkerers and is, in itself almost always a reason to have a Windows partition when wanting to tackle the display.

2) Would you consider submitting it to winget? I also just started exploring package management on Window? (even if like... living within the winget folders and not being truly "installed" anywhere? Automated updates... even if its living in the downloads folder... would be oh-so-lovely: https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs)

(I just found with 1.4 or whatever their latest package management standards are that Windows package management is finally viable.) So I decided to use it to manage a bunch of third party applications and keep them up to date. Thinking maybe having a powershell scripts to automate times for an "auto update command" like winget upgrade --all --include-unknown --accept-package-agreements. Its nice to get a Linux-like package manager experience for finding, using, upgrading third-party applications via command-line, but there are still some installers that pop up here and there. Usually all automated though.

And when setting a custom resolution the calculated pixel clock and 600MHz limit aren't affected (I'm not sure which would change?).
In the CTA-861 extension block, delete the 4:2:0 capability map data block, and then add a TV resolutions data block with 4:2:0 resolutions enabled, and try adding 3840x2160 @ 120 Hz in there.

You didn't say what happens if you try to go higher.

If you make 1600x900 the first detailed resolution on all the monitors, then Eyefinity should use 4800x900.

Your monitor doesn't support the resolution correctly. Use GPU scaling.

You don't need to write the EDID to the display. Linux has EDID overrides, and X has custom resolutions using modelines or xrandr.

I'll look into it, but probably not until CRU 2.0.

In the CTA-861 extension block, delete the 4:2:0 capability map data block, and then add a TV resolutions data block with 4:2:0 resolutions enabled, and try adding 3840x2160 @ 120 Hz in there.

No dice. The 4:2:0 block seems to get ignored entirely? I tried adding lower resolutions like 2160p48 and 720p120 and they don't show up either.
