Hello, my monitor has 2 presets, 90-144hz standard engine and ultimate engine for 70-144hz, if i use cru and change the freesync range to 50 or 55-144 will this affect my monitor in any way? will LFC kick in when its bellow 50hz? thanks

Monitor Samsung C24FG73
If it displays correctly, then there should be no issues with reducing the minimum. LFC should kick in as long as the maximum is at least 2.5x the minimum.
Hey guys,
due to flickering problems in Starfield I raised my lower range limit from 48Hz to 60Hz. My question: Is this safe too?

Monitor is an Acer Predator XB253QGP (G-Sync Compatible, default range mimits 48-144 Hz) and Starfield seems to struggle around 40 to 50Hz in certain situations (quick save, quick load, menu operations) resulting in flickering...
Yes, raising the minimum is always safe since it's still within the supported range.

Okay, thx a lot. :-)
Another follow-up question: If I raise the minimum to, say, 90Hz, what would happen if the game delivered 80fps?

It will tear as if G-SYNC wasn't enabled unless vsync is enabled.

Ah, I see. Thanks a lot.
