Full Version: Having problems getting 120hz on tv

Hello everyone, I'm having problem forcing 120hz on my tv. All specification information is at the bottom.

I have been able to force 75hz but anything above that just doesn't work. The tv only says "invalid format"
I've been trying so many things with CRU and the ATI Patcher.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and I have the wrong hardware or is it just impossible?
Thank you all! Smile

Most TVs don't support 120 Hz input. 120 Hz TVs take 60 Hz input and interpolate frames.

Mine accepts 75hz so that isn't the case here. It's an "800hz" TV, and I know that isn't true input hz but it must be able to intake 100hz atleast or 120hz. Everywhere I read people say it's either an 100hz or 200hz panel.
It may have a 100 Hz or 200 Hz panel, but that doesn't mean it will accept those refresh rates. If your TV supported 120 Hz, simply adding a detailed resolution and changing the refresh rate to 120 Hz would work.
