Hi, I am having trouble with some resolutions and I was hoping anyone here could enlighten me.

Most resolutions work flawlessly but for example 1720x1080 and 1811x1080 gives me a vertical split in the middle of the screen. I want to use these resolutions in Fortnite thus i am posting here.

I am using the Samsung Odyssey 25" G4 240hz monitor.

Could there be some Timing problem or something that I am missing? I am very uneducated in this area so any help is greatly appreciated.

That's an issue with the monitor not handling the resolution correctly. The timing parameters themselves wouldn't cause that, but the monitor may behave differently with different timing parameters or resolutions. Try multiples of 16 such as 1728x1080 and 1816x1080.
