Hello!

I am trying to add FreeSync support with CRU on Windows 10 to the built-in MacBook Pro display: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbo...specs.html

The range I have set is 48-60 Hz (48 Hz is the lowest value supported by macOS, so this is what I am starting with).

But I still cannot set FreeSync enabled in the AMD GPU panel. Is this because what I am trying to do is:

- impossible on this hardware?
- not supported by the current driver version?
- should use another method like installing some modified INF file or rewriting EDID: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic...e0bf779714 ?

If it has switchable graphics, the Intel GPU is controlling the laptop display, so you wouldn't be able to get FreeSync on it.

AFAIK, the Intel GPU is disabled on these Macs when using Windows: https://www.reddit.com/r/eGPU/comments/1...t/ms8ccej/ And it is not visible in the device manager either.

Any other ideas?

If adding a FreeSync data block doesn't work, then it probably can't be done.
