It's working fine here. What part isn't working? I don't see anything different about the new driver. Are you using the latest patcher?

That's an old version of the patcher. Have you tried the current version?

Thank you toasty. All is well now. I cant believe I had the old patcher on my desktop instead of the new one. Glad I posted.

P.S. Could a shorter cable help with my overclock? I could get away with 4 feet and I have a 10 foot one. Where would you suggest getting one and what gauge?
I don't know if it's due to a more recent version of the patcher or of CRU (updated them both at the same time) but 2560x1440 @ 120hz no longer works with my old timings.

Replaced them with alternative ones (keeping the pixel clock at about 470) and it's stable again. Strange. Wish I actually understood what these timings were and how they interrelated.
Thank you ToastyX for your support! Works like charm!

Is there any way to get video cards below 5000 series to work?
I have a Gainward 4870 1000MB, every profile I make in CRU over 330Mhz which is ~81Hz at 2560x1440 won't show up as an option in Catalyst. I did use the 330Mhz patch.
While the new version of the patcher allows for increased pixel clock with the new Mantle driver, it seems to cause Mantle itself to not work with my setup. I have two 7950's in Crossfire. Pre-patch, Battlefield 4 works great with Mantle. Post-patch, the screen goes black when entering the game. I can cont-alt-del and cause it to go windowed mode, which removes the black screen and allows me to change the settings back. I either have to switch to DX11 mode or revert to pre-patch to stop this from happening. Anyone else having this issue?
Hey guys, I was just installing the new 14.1 beta drivers from AMD and at the last second I forgot to reverse the monitor overclocks I had done on my main before the driver was installed. Now the main monitor that was OC'd has gone black and liney, basically lost all use.

Can you do anything, like reverse something to bring the monitor back? Or is a windows re-install in order?
I think you can load Windows in safe mode and remove the custom resolutions from there

That shouldn't happen unless you deleted 60 Hz. You shouldn't need to reverse the overclocks. Just patch the driver and reboot. This can be done in safe mode if necessary.

Does that happen at 60 Hz with the patch? Are you using two CrossFire bridges?

Older cards are handled differently. I haven't been able to find any hard-coded limits for older cards, which makes it very hard to find where it's checking or setting the limit.
