Monitor Tests Forum

I've followed two different guides to the T and for some reason when I restart my computer the new refresh rates do not show up. It's almost like the program isn't making the changes on restart. I'm using CRU 1.2.

I used to have my monitors overclocked to 70 hz and I clean installed Windows 8.1 last night and am trying to do it again and it's not cooperating.

Any help? I've tried multiple times.

I have an R9 290 and Windows 8.1 installed.

Is the monitor listed as "(active)" in CRU? Do the refresh rates show up if you run restart.exe?

What monitor is it and how is it connected? What resolution and timing parameters are you trying to use?
