My monitor is a BenQ GW2460HS and I'm using the R314 branch of nvidia drivers.

The standard resolution created with CRU works when I have display scaling set in the nv cp, but not when I set GPU scaling in the nv cp.

Why is that?

Any help will be appreciated.

CRU adds monitor resolutions, while GPU scaling only uses the native resolution. If you want to add lower resolutions with GPU scaling enabled, you have to use a refresh rate that exists at the native resolution.
