Getting random freezes with the latest 331.65 and the 1.2.3 patch.

3x EVGA 680s SLI
Windows 8.1
1.2.3 should work with 331.65. I don't see anything different about it.

Did you use the full patch? Run the patcher again and make sure it's still patched.
Ok. I'm still getting issues after unapplying the patch, so it seems unrelated to the clock patcher. It may be my card/drivers, I'll continue to investigate. Thanks.
I get a bsod when i try to enable nvidia surround on OC'd screens.

Im running 2 gtx 670s in sli, with 3 xstars OC'd to 96hz.
nvidia 331.83 drivers patched
surround works @ 60hz but when i force with cru it bsod

bsod (page fault in non-paged area nvlddmkm.sys)

anyone have any ideas ?
Surround with custom resolutions is broken in 331.xx. Use 327.23 and wait for NVIDIA to fix the problem.
I just got a QNIX QX2710 and I was able to run the Pixel Clock Patcher and then overclock the 2560x1440 resolution to 96hz with no problems.

When I tried to set it to 120hz, the screen went black for maybe 20 seconds and seemed like it was OK and asked if I wanted to keep resolution, etc. I clicked yes and it went black for a long time and I actually rebooted because it took so long.

When windows came back up, I selected the 120hz profile and it loaded after maybe 15-20 seconds, but the mouse would sort of stop/freeze every 8-10 seconds for a couple of seconds and this behavior repeated until I rebooted.

So a few questions. I heard that GeForce Experience can cause problems with overclocking. Should I uninstall that application?

Also, the Pixel Clock that I downloaded had two versions, a normal and a full. Which one should I be using?

I'm running SLI'd 670's which is why I ran the Pixel Clock Patcher.
You need to use the full version with SLI. That will fix the freezing problem.

You only need to uninstall GeForce Experience if you're using CRU.
That seemed to fix it. When I set it to 120hz though I notice some weird intermittent glitching...looks like bright green horizontal lines flickering here and there when I loaded up BF4 and on the desktop sometimes. Set it back to 96hz for now.

Should I have restored the backup patch before running the full maybe? I ran the full and just patched whatever was missed from the regular patch.

It doesn't matter. The green horizontal lines indicate a signal quality problem. Try manually reducing the totals to 2664x1450. You can probably tweak it down a little further, but that will give you a good starting point.

Changing it to 2664x1450 seemed to do the trick! Thanks!
