Hi, so I have a single GTX 780Ti. Do I need the patch at all or can I just go use NVIDIA control panel to create resolutions without it? Thanks

From what I understand you can. On a side note Toasty, is it normal for at higher clocks to see a shift in color? My friend is going through the Nvidia control panel on his quinx and made it to 120 off the go however his color is a bit out of wack.

It's normal for the QNIX and X-Star monitors. The Catleap and Overlord monitors don't have issues with colors at higher pixel clocks.

Depends on what you're doing. The GTX 780 Ti doesn't require the patch when using the NVIDIA control panel to add custom resolutions for dual-link DVI or HDMI monitors. The regular patch is needed for single-link DVI monitors and when using CRU.
I am using a 7750Ti right now but I consider to change to 750ti just to have hardware acceleration working.
Ive been looking around and couldnt find this info so my question is:
1) Will there be a limit of 96hz for nvidia cards or its possible to higher even though its not high end card?
2) Is Hardware acceleration working by default?

Yes, hardware acceleration works with NVIDIA cards. There isn't a 96 Hz limit.
Hi I've noticed this post about your patch and I'd really like to try it. However, I do have some concerns before I do try.
I'm using a ViewSonic VX2270SMH-LED. Three of them in Nvidia Surround. Two of them use DVI-D while one uses HDMI. I can overclock the HDMI to 75hz natively while the other two can only go up to about 66hz. I'm not sure if it's because of the cables or what not.
All that said, will this patch allow me to reach higher hz? Does my ViewSonic brand going to affect the results since most of what I'm seeing are the Korean brands like Catleap, etc.? Should I opt for different cable setups?
Edit: Not sure if it's worth mentioning but I do have a GTX 780
