Hello,

My monitor Overlord 270OC with toasty-X utilities worked at 100hz refresh rate stable like a charm until Nvidia realesed 340.11 new WHQL drivers. Maybe we have to wait for a new version of the Nvidia Pixel Clock Patcher and CRU...
Hi Toastyx!

I had been trying to get DSR on my GTX 970 SLI working with custom resolutions afforded by the patched pixel clock using a 2560x1440 X-Star DP2710. Until the new 344.24 WHQL driver DSR would not enable for me with any EDID patched resolution with the Pixel Clock Patcher used. As of 344.24 I can now enable DSR & SLI with a custom resolution using CRU + this thread's patcher, however if I go above the 400mhz default DL-DVI limit DSR seems to be disabled. I'm unsure if this is a driver limitation or if this is something your tool could address somehow, as it may be an additional DL-DVI clock check they added in the drivers somewhere if I were to hazard a guess. This is letting me do 97hz + DSR at 2560x1440 which is great though compared to the prior versions.

I donated quite awhile back and wanted to say thanks again for these great tools... they've been of extreme usefulness over these past years.

NVIDIA 340.11 NEW DRIVERS WON'T WORK WITH THE LATEST TOASTY-X UTILITIES
Hello,

Toasty can u help me because like i said my monitor Overlord 270OC with toasty-X utilities worked at 100hz refresh rate stable like a charm until Nvidia realesed 340.11 new WHQL drivers. We have to wait for a new version of the Nvidia Pixel Clock Patcher and CRU or not and i do something wrong installing the latest utilities...

Thanks
There definitely seems to be an compatbility issue with 344.16. I just bought new 970s in SLI, whenever I patch and restart, the start up after you login always freezes. Sometimes it would turn to a black screen and sometimes my 2nd monitor would show green pixels everywhere.

Oddly enough, it finally worked after like 10 restarts, its really weird, haven't had a problem with the older 337.50.

Did something happen with newer drivers or 900 series in general? I can't overclock my monitors as much anymore before I get green artifacts.

with my 760s I could overclock both my QNIX to 120HZ perfectly. Now with my 970s I get green lines as soon as I hit 100HZ.

What happened? Sad - Did I upgrade video cards just to reduce my HZ?
If there's a compatibility issue, I'm not seeing it. I haven't found anything new related to SLI, and it finds all the other limits. Two people already confirmed SLI works with the GTX 970, but the last time there was an SLI issue, I got so much conflicting information. I'm still waiting for more feedback. It's possible there are issues that only affect certain cards, but I don't have a way to test that myself, which makes this difficult.

No, because you won't tell me what isn't working. Are you using SLI? I'm not aware of anything that would prevent 100 Hz from working with the new driver. Setting the totals to 2720x1470 would work for 100 Hz even if the SLI limit wasn't patched.
Toasty i have a Geforce 690GTX in my system and like i said my monitor Overlord 270OC with these utilities worked at 2560x1440 - 100hz refresh rate stable like a charm. Worked also at 120hz refresh rate but with a few orizontal lines on it but this is a ''fault'' of my monitor. It can't perform the maximum value. That's why i am using the refresh rate of 100hz. Old versions of Nvidia drivers worked well with the latest Toasty-X utilities (nvlddmkm-patcher-1.2.6.zip - cru1.1.2.zip ) until Nvidia realeased 340.11 new WHQL drivers.

I hope that i am comprehensive this time and for u to have a goodwill.

You still haven't told me what is wrong. What isn't working? What is happening? Like I said, there's nothing preventing 100 Hz from working with the latest drivers.
Toasty my monitor Overlord 270OC after installing these utilities worked at 2560x1440 with the normal refresh rate of 60hz. Suddenly....after all these days my monitor unstucking and works again at 100hz. Now i can choose between 60hz and 100hz like before. I can not understand how this happened I can not give an explanation.

I would like to thank you for your interest...so we must go on.
New nvidia drivers have solved my black screen freeze issues and SLI works perfectly. I am also able to overclock to 120HZ fine again (for some reason switching dvi cables worked here even though these cables worked before).

Thanks
