Oh hell yeah, updating.

EDIT:

So far...the issue is gone, but it's not as smooth. My It doesn't seem like my refresh rate is higher than 60.

It also doesn't feel like it's completely fixed. I used to be able to do 115HZ. Now I am stock @ 100HZ or I see the green line artifacts!

**

It now appears you can't use DSR /w Custom Resolutions either! Bah! What the hell?

You can resume the normal use of Pixel patcher/CRU with Pascal cards over DL-DVI

You don't need to use pixel patcher or cru with Maxwell/Pascal cards. Just set a custom resolution in NVCP and your done. But, you are correct the reboot issue is gone and I was able to oc to 115hz stable.
Damn. I wonder why I can't anymore? It really bugs me!

I have no idea why. But it's working now, after I installed the Hotfix and messed with my DVI cables more. But I didn't do much, honest, I just wiggled them abit. Or was. Seems to be coming back. Just saw it for a bit..was fine for like 10 minutes. Uggh. I'll mess with the wires again tomorrow or something...secure them super tight...it's just this monoprice cable is so hefty...

Seems to be working fine in games, but I see the lines briefly whenever I open a video or watch a stream of someone, but then disappears. Odd.

Interesting, switching my wallpaper is seemingly what "fixed it", putting my old one abck, the lines appear again. So is it related only to certain colors or something? Hmm. I wonder.

I notice it's actually only happening in certain games. Strange. Like Overwatch, it runs fine. Some Source games, fine. Some other Source games, lines, ect...confusing.

Well I don't know what to make of it. It works in some games, not in others...I think I'm just going to get a non-hacked monitor this year, for Christmas or something...buy a G-Sync Panel that I don't need to warm up, overclock, use a DVI-D Cable that I could probably use to support my 250 pound weight.

My only worries is I don't think official IPS Panels with 120HZ+ exist yet in 1440p or higher. What I really want is 4K, 120FPS for future proofing. However, those seem to not exist quite yet. It might be hard to go from IPS back to TN Colors...but this monitor is giving me a headache with these issues.
Seems to be not finding the DLL to patch with the new 369.09 driver.

I'm having the same problem
Something is odd about the 369.09 driver from Windows Update. It's using the files directly from the driver store file repository instead of installing them in the correct locations. I don't know if this is intentional or a mistake. The driver store isn't writable, so this would require changing where the driver is installed before it can be modified.

I'm not sure what to do about this yet. I think I'll wait for an official release first to see if the change is permanent. For now, just install 368.81: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRes...spx/105037
Thank you for the information.
Pls update patcher for 309.00.

It already works with 369.00.
Hi guys,

Still not working with the new 372.54 driver. Seems nVidia changed the way the driver installs. I now only do 72Hz in my X-Star, down from 96Hz.Huh
