i got a hp pavilion 27xi monitor the max i can get is 70 mhz with cru_126 with amd patcher 136 maybe its because of my video card its a old one visiontek hd 7850 2 gig thank you 1967kID

Basically, you want to find the lowest blanking timing your monitor can handle.
Note that as you change the front/back porch and sync width, the blanking will change as well. That is, the blanking is the sum of front/back porch and sync width.

The 56 limit is actually a driver limit that was added last year, but I haven't found a way around it. The monitor can probably go lower.
