Full Version: Going Fullscreen with Catleap @120hz?

Hi All,

I seem to be having a problem getting BF4 to run fullscreen at above 60hz. I've tried 100 and 120hz but it will only open in windowed mode even with fullscreen enabled. Only at 60hz will the game go fullscreen.

Will using CRU fix this for me? Also, is the issue using CRU with GeForce Experience resolved? The reason I want to go fullscreen is to take advantage of shadowplay. Otherwise, I'm fine with just playing in a maximized window @120hz or playing @60hz to use Shadowplay... just would like to have it all working together.

I'm using 2 x GTX680s in SLI.
CRU will take care of that, but GeForce Experience is still an issue. If you're using the NVIDIA control panel, did you install the catleap.inf file?

Install using the Device Manager: right-click "Generic PnP Monitor" -> Update Driver Software... -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer -> Have Disk... -> Browse for the .inf file -> OK -> Next -> Install this driver software anyway

If you're using Windows 8 or 8.1, you need to temporarily disable driver signature enforcement first: http://sixcolumns.com/how-to-disable-and...windows-8/
Thank you! That worked! The first time I added the detailed res using CRU and moving it to first on the list, it didn't take for some reason.. Instead, it defaulted to 1920x1440@120hz (wtf?). But after I deleted the other res settings and only kept the one 2560x1440@120hz, it worked fine. Now I can finally play BF4 in fullscreen mode! And Shadowplay is working as well. THanks again!

Oh, I did have to follow a different set of instructions for disabling driver signature enforcement on Windows 8.1... just as an FYI.
