After overclocking my laptop's display to 100hz from 60hz, when i change it back to 60hz it feels like all things are laggy, like 30fps. What's the problem?

Are you sure you're just not seeing how bad 60 Hz is after getting used to 100 Hz? Does this detect the correct refresh rate? https://testufo.com/
