Unfortunately it seems i am too stupid. When a monitor won't display its native resolution, the solution is not adding a custom resolution. There's no point in adding a resolution that the monitor already defines. The problem is your GPU does not support the bandwidth required. You need either DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0. UHD620 does not support HDMI 2.0, so you need to use DisplayPort. Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately my notebook doesnt have a display port. Only HDMI 1.4b and 2x usb typ c. 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 3. Display was conntected via USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 3. „ supports external monitors via HDMI (up to 4096x2160@24Hz), USB-C (up to 4096x2304@60Hz) or Thunderbolt (up to 4096x2304@60Hz)“ So im out of luck here? If yes this would be annoying, because my old hd520 with display port from 2015 can get the nativ resolution and the new from 2020 with thunderbolt which should be working? does not. Thanks again! bugme! |
