"in Game Mode with the input label set to 'PC'. The text clarity is much worse with a 144Hz signal... This is because it doesn't display proper chroma 4:4:4 with a 144Hz signal"
The cable is not the issue. There's no way for the GPU to know what cable you're using. HDMI 2.1 will work with any high quality cable. The chroma issue is a TV limitation. It accepts 4:4:4 but reduces it internally when the refresh rate is 144 Hz. If you were limited to HDMI 2.0, you would be limited to 4:2:0 at 120 Hz, and 144 Hz wouldn't be available.

If you go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000", you can edit "NV_Modes" and insert a custom resolution followed by =1.
Those are GPU-scaled resolutions. I already have a program for that here: https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Threa...Editor-SRE

Didn't knew about this program, much better than editing the registry, I will recommend it for people with similar issue with custom resolutions as me.

For now , the only thing I will miss from CRU is the possibility to edit VRR range.

Thank you, ToastyX.
