There's no way for the GPU to know what cable you're using. HDMI 2.1 will work with any high quality cable. The chroma issue is a TV limitation. It accepts 4:4:4 but reduces it internally when the refresh rate is 144 Hz. If you were limited to HDMI 2.0, you would be limited to 4:2:0 at 120 Hz, and 144 Hz wouldn't be available. Didn't knew about this program, much better than editing the registry, I will recommend it for people with similar issue with custom resolutions as me. For now , the only thing I will miss from CRU is the possibility to edit VRR range. Thank you, ToastyX. |
