The issue seems consistent between many makes of AMD cards (280X, 380X, RX480)HDMI transmits audio during the blanking periods, so use "LCD native" timing, or add 1920x1080 @ 100/120 Hz in a TV resolutions data block in the extension block to make sure it has enough blanking for the audio. DisplayPort audio is transmitted separately, so the resolution shouldn't matter as long as there is enough bandwidth remaining. |
