RE: Parts required for overclocking LG IPS panels?
I have a Dell U2711 and I broke the LCD panel after a shock on the screen with a cup It's the most expensive espresso of my life!
I called to Dell and they asked me 900 euros for a refurbished panel! At the beginning, I planed to buy a new LG panel LM270WQ2 but the part is difficult to find, and the prices are high... After some researches I found: - the LM270WQ1 which is less expensive and easier to find because more Apple monitors was sold compared to the Dell monitor. - the LM270WQ3 which is used in other monitors Here is my key interrogation: can I plug in my Dell U2711 the Q1 or Q3 panel ? If so, what kind of manual adaptations have I to do ? Please note that I am not concerned if I lost some functions of my screen or if the final performances are a little but lower. Regards, Benjamin |
