RE: Strobelight - LightBoost Utility for AMD/ATI and NVIDIA
Strobelight doesn't save the brightness at all. The monitor is supposed to remember the brightness. Setting the brightness in the program simply sends a command to set the brightness in the monitor. The brightness command is supposed to behave exactly like setting the brightness manually in the monitor. If that's not happening, then it's a monitor bug. Have you checked if using standard mode with LightBoost off has any effect on the problem when LightBoost is on?

I don't know how I can work around that unless I make the program keep track of the brightness, but then if the brightness is changed manually or the monitor is powered off, the program won't have a way of detecting that.
