RE: Strobelight - LightBoost Utility for AMD/ATI and NVIDIA
Hey,
I recently bought ASUS VG248QE after hearing about lightboost. I have gtx480. Problem is, it works good and I can see clearer motion. But when I am playing CS:GO or quake 3 cpma with lightboost on @120hz I feel like im having big input lag. I tried with both vsync-on and off and adaptative vsync. Is there any solution for this? In quake i have a steady 120fps (and it's a really old game). In cs:go I had a jumpy 150-300fps before with multirendering on, with lightboost a steady 120fps (so I dont think my gtx480 should be the problem). I am also curious if any other serious gamers /progamers experience this. Thanks for your help guys --------- if this helps any: I got i7 x980 @ 3.8ghz, 10gb ram, win 7 home ------- edit: I think it was due to vsync and/or multirendering on. I have to investigate this more tomorrow edit2: so after reading someother website talking about this apparently VSYNC gives input lag. Does lightboost give inputlag if vsync is off? |
