This is separate from HDMI FreeSync, which is AMD's own solution, although I don't know if they're compatible or not. DisplayPort FreeSync is different and uses adaptive sync, which is what NVIDIA calls G-SYNC compatible.

Thanks for your reply ToastyX,

I have found this statement on the Nvidia Website

"If you don’t own a LG C9 OLED TV, but do own a display or TV that only supports Variable Refresh Rates via HDMI, you can try enabling HDMI VRR when the aforementioned driver is released. As these displays and TVs haven’t yet been through our comprehensive validation process, we can’t guarantee VRR will work, or work without issue."

What you think of this?

Ok, i've found the why my GTX 1080 Ti wont do Gsync no matter what driver.

It appears that VRR over HDMI 2.0b or 2.1 is only for GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 16-Series Video Cards (bump)

Now i can only thing: Could a 1080 Ti be replaced by a 2080 Ti Bios so my Computer Thinks the GTX is a RTX and therefore VRR over HDMI? Could it be possible?

By the way...Sorry for my bad English!

Thanks for your replies in advance ToastyX
