RE: Nvidia surround lost after shutdown
Hi ToastyX,
Have not tried your idea yet, but I will and come back on it. Edit (27oct): Tried the tiles idea, but unfortunately it does not work, seems no difference in behavior before and after. Today I tried another PC, using DDU to be sure before installing. Result surround lost after 2nd restart, reconfigured several times and lost every time. Tried also a GTX1060, the card initially in the PC. Using DDU before re-installing. As the card does not have 3x DP out, I connected one monitor with DP and a second with HDMI. Configured surround for 2 monitors, restart and surround lost. With all the tests I now did, it can only be either the Nvidia driver or some strange behavior of the monitor(s) at PC startup the Nvidia driver cannot handle. But the Nvidia driver should be able to handle this behavior I would think. Now is the question when and if it will be solved? Any experience from Nvidia resolving issues? |
