That doesn't sound like a Strobelight problem. The strobelight-setup.exe program only installs an EDID override for the monitor. No other changes are made to the system. Choosing "Reset this display (uninstall)" removes the override, so if that didn't solve the problem, then something else happened. Strobelight doesn't do anything to the video driver, so reinstalling the driver wouldn't fix anything Strobelight did.
The BenQ XL2411T should work with a Radeon 7950 without any problems. Check the device manager under display adapters and make sure there are no mirror drivers or anything other than your video card. I'm not aware of anything else that would interfere with that setup. Have you tried installing Strobelight again to see if the same problem appears? |
