If the monitor works correctly with the 3080 Ti, then the monitor already defines the correct capabilities, so the issue is with the GPU or driver. The only reason 3440x1440 would be limited to 6 bpc and 144 Hz is if the data rate is limited to HBR2 mode, which is the maximum for DisplayPort 1.2, but the UHD 770 should support HBR3 mode with DisplayPort 1.3/1.4, so I don't know why it's limited. Sometimes a bad cable can cause that, but then it should happen with the 3080 Ti as well. Make sure you have the latest Intel graphics driver installed. If that doesn't help, you'll have to ask Intel support or the motherboard manufacturer to see if they can find out why it's limited. |
