Dithering shouldn't cause eye strain. 8-bit dithering is very hard to see, especially with the gradual transitions caused by LCD response times. Most people don't even realize AMD GPUs have dithering. Normally, you'd want to leave dithering on unless the monitor also dithers and the two dithering patterns are clashing to produce artifacts. |
