I don't think the 6950 fully supports DisplayPort 1.2. The pixel clock patch is for DVI and HDMI, not DisplayPort. You shouldn't have to use CRU or do anything special to get 144 Hz working. This is something you should bring up with AMD support because 144 Hz should work automatically if the 6950 supported DisplayPort 1.2 like the specs claim.

Thanks Toasty for clearing some of that up. I wasn't sure where to go to look for my issue. I'll talk to AMD like you said, and share what I find out to maybe help some others out.
