The major issue is that WMC can't handle that brief loss of hdmi connection. This PC is supposed to be running Windows Media Center 24/7 for Tv/DVR and if I power cycle the Onkyo or Tv while WMC is playing tv/audio/video then it will black screen, crash, throw an error, and require restarting WMC.No, you need a device to emulate the EDID so the computer thinks it's always connected. Here is one such device: Gefen HDMI Detective Plus (07-08-2013 09:02 PM)ker0n3 Wrote: Hi, i usually play bf3 at 800x600 on xl2420t,but i cant play it now with this on and 4.3 aspect ratio, it goes 16.9. is there any way to force 800x600 120hz to 4.3 aspect ratio?THXThat depends if the monitor or the GPU is scaling. If you added 800x600 in CRU and GPU scaling is not enabled, then the aspect ratio is up to the monitor. If the monitor doesn't have scaling options, then you will have to use GPU scaling. Both AMD and NVIDIA have options to keep the aspect ratio. You don't need to add 800x600 in CRU if you're using GPU scaling because standard resolutions like 800x600 are automatically added by the driver anyway. |
