Would the 480 not need to have a patched driver?The RX 480 shouldn't need the patch if you're using HDMI or an active DisplayPort-HDMI adapter that supports 300 MHz pixel clock. If you're using a passive DisplayPort-HDMI adapter, then you'll need the patch beyond 165 MHz pixel clock. I can't say if you'll notice a difference. The TV might not even support it. |
