Are you talking about a laptop screen? Keep in mind that internal interfaces have bandwidth limitations. Someone mentioned running into a 240 MHz pixel clock limit on their laptop. That would only be enough to get around 100 Hz at 1920x1080. Hmm I know but probably you misunderstood... I wish to know why windows and intel graphics settings don't SHOW the refresh rates... I wish to test them one by one to see the monitor and bus limits... On another laptop with the same monitor but switchable nvidia card I could SEE the refresh rates in the list and test them one by one. This is using PRIME so the gfx card manging the monitor is the intel one (even if nvidia card is always active). I wish to be able to select over 100Hz for testing but I don't know who is actually limiting it. ![]() |
