RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I went to help my buddy install and overclock his new Qnix and he has Norton installed. Norton wouldn't allow us to install the patcher because it said it was a "ws.trojan.h" . We made the exception and everything worked great after that.. Im assuming it's a false positive because its touching sensitive files but has anyone else gotten that Trojan message? Anyways, we were able to select 120hz, not probs, but it wasnt showing up in some games for some reason, only 60hz. Then after a couple of restarts it started to work with only some games.
So, this morning he went to install the new Nvidia driver with the new patcher to see if he would have better luck and Nvidia control panel only gives the option of 60hz. We used the latest full pixel clock patcher and CRU.. He has a GTX 690. Would the 690 be considered SLI or should we use the normal patch, maybe thats the issue? I have a GTX 580 Classy and everything works perfect on mine, that's why I'm kinda confused.. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |
