Assistance Needed: Restoring HDMI Resolutions on S95F After CRU Changes
Hey everyone,

I need help with my Samsung OLED S95F (which uses the One Connect Box). I used the CRU ) app and mistakenly removed the TV resolutions and all four HDMI support resolutions. I’ve done this before on other displays without issue—but this time, my TV now shows no signal.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
1. Used the “Reset All” option in CRU
2. Ran “Restart64”
3. Restarted my PC, including booting into Safe Mode
4. Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers

When I connect via the iGPU output, the display works fine but when I connect it to my render card, which is the nvidia card, which was the original card the TV was hooked up to prior to me doing the CRU changes, the TV is still recognized in PC and even shows up in my nvidia control panel, yet the TV it self shows "HDMI Cable: Disconnected" ... my PC detects the display, but the screen remains blank (no signal).

Thanks in advance!

Simply removing the TV/HDMI resolutions shouldn't cause that to happen, and running reset-all.exe removes all EDID overrides and resets the Windows display settings, so I'm not sure what could cause that. Try reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers after using DDU in safe mode: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driv...aller-DDU-

Yeah man its so weird Sad

And yeah I just did a fresh nvidia driver install after booting into safe mode and used DDU

I did that for hdmi port 4 and 2, I have 2 more ports on the TV I can try to do that on but it likely won't work lol

The other weird thing is only way I can get it to work is if I turn off game mode and go ahead and disable hdmi input plus but their is no 4k resolution in the control panel nor can I go higher than 60Hz (note that this TV can do 4k@165Hz)

DDU is pretty thorough, so this isn't a software issue. The TV's firmware might have glitched. Try unplugging the TV's power for a minute to reset it.

Okay seems its been fixed, I believe the solution of unplugging the TV fixed it, because before that I unplugged it for maybe a few seconds, but it seems giving it more time fixed it? Thanks buddy!
