Ignore the OSD refresh rate. The OSD reports the strobe pulse widths timings based on what it thinks is proper for the current Vertical total and it switches to 60hz backlight pulse widths (for strobing) whenever the VT is run out of specification.
OK well that is good to know as I was relying on the OSD to confirm my settings. I find that I don't really have much confidence in the CRU to apply settings, as you essentially set a configuration and click OK, reboot and hope for the best.

The 1080p settings for the monitor running with MBR @ 120Hz seem pretty OK. So I guess I use it in the same manner as the XL2411Z and swap res when working to get 1440p.

EDIT: Also just noticed I am on firmware v001.
