CRU custom resolution stuck at 60Hz in fullscreen
Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum and also to Custom Resolution Utility, so I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what I’m doing wrong. I followed a YouTube guide to create custom resolutions for Apex Legends on my gaming laptop. The resolutions were added successfully and appear in Windows display settings. However, when I run Apex Legends in fullscreen, the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz even though fnf the laptop’s main display is a 240Hz panel. The custom resolutions I created are 1440x1080 and 1728x1080, both configured for 240Hz. Interestingly, borderless windowed mode does run at 240Hz, but I notice significantly more input lag compared with fullscreen. Because of that, I’d really like to get the custom resolution working properly at 240Hz in exclusive fullscreen. I’m not very familiar with CRU yet, so I’m wondering if I may have entered an incorrect timing or refresh-rate value. Has anyone encountered this issue with a 240Hz laptop display, or know which CRU settings I should check? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! |
