They don't seem to allow custom resolutions, I can't add them via the Intel drivers and adding them via this software does not make them show up in Windows or the Intel drivers. Specifically Iris XE on a 1195G7.
Try the alternative method for older Intel GPUs because that uses a driver-specific method. If that doesn't work, then it probably can't be done without flashing a new EDID to the panel. Keep in mind internal displays only support the native resolution, and the pixel clock is limited by the interface used (usually eDP for newer laptops), so higher refresh rates will not appear if it exceeds that limit.

I tried to reset the cru but it didnt work. I reinstalled windows (Completely formatted my SSD). Reinstalled the nVidia drivers ( GPU: RTX 2080TI ) Even used a software to delete them. WIndows doesnt think my monitor is HDR capable anymore either ( Windows 11 pro 64bit ) I'm literally stuck. I've tried everything online and can't find anymore related information about this. Please help!
CRU does not modify anything on the hardware, so something else must have changed. Are you using DisplayPort? 3840x2160 @ 144 Hz would require DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), so make sure that's enabled in the monitor if there's an option. If there's an overclocking option in the monitor, check that it's set to 144 Hz. On the PC side, make sure the color format is set to RGB, and make sure the color depth is not 12 bpc. If none of that helps, try unplugging the monitor's power for a minute just in case there's a firmware glitch, and try reconnecting the DisplayPort cable to make sure it's connected securely. Beyond that, there shouldn't be any issues considering you reformatted and reinstalled Windows.

Thanks! I did try that actually, unfortunately it didn't work Sad

Add an extension block, and change the type.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Gentlemen, hello. I wanted to ask you. I have a working laptop (dell latitude 4310) with 4k 60 fps via usb type c port and a 49-inch monitor with a resolution of 5120x1440, I bought a usb hdmi dock with 4k 60 fps support, but the monitor works through the dock only in a resolution of 3840 x 1080, while if I connect the dock to my wife's laptop, the monitor starts work in a resolution of 5120x1440x75 hertz. Such a question if I export the EDID registry settings from my wife's laptop to a work laptop, will it help to enable the native resolution of an additional monitor on a work laptop?

Thank you in advance!

The EDID comes from the monitor. It would not change on different computers. There is a hardware limitation on your laptop.

Thanks for the quick response
So even CRU won't help? 5120x1440 is less than 4k (4k 60 fps is supported according to information from vendor - dell)

Nothing helped.
New Intel Drivers - nope
Edit DisplayID - nope
Dell regedit patch - nope

I give up)
