Laptop doesn't detect external monitor max resolution?
Hey guys need a bit of help. My laptop on it's own would not detect the max resolution of my external monitor. Im using a Dell Inspiron and an Asus Proart 27" monitor. The max resolution the laptop reads it's 2048x1152 but the monitor can go up to 2560x1440. Funny enough I had used CRU before and it fixed the problem, I was able to access the max resolution. But ever since I moved and reconnected it all again it doesn't let me. I've tried multiple options but it doesn't seem to work as before. Idk how I got it to work last time but I'm really frustrated now because I can't figure it out. My laptop has an i tegrated graphics card Intel Iris Xe btw. Can anyone help me resolve this?

That's odd because it should just work. 2560x1440 @ 60 Hz only requires HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort, which the Iris Xe should support. Are you using HDMI or DisplayPort? Are you using any adapters or KVM?
