Monitor overclocking worse on Dual Link DVI
So I have a GTX 960 and am using a Acer H226HQL and I got it to 76hz on HDMI and thought ok a dual link DVI would go faster I haven't been able to get even to there only to 70hz can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

That monitor has single-link DVI. Using a dual-link DVI cable won't make a difference. You need to patch the video driver to go beyond 165 MHz pixel clock with single-link DVI monitors.
