Reducing Input Latency on TVs feat. CRU
First post!

I haven't used a traditional monitor in 6 years and have somewhat perfected the art of reducing input latency on TVs. After using Toasty's Custom Resolution Utility in order to experiment with DSR, I realized that atleast a couple people on this forum might appreciate or benefit from my efforts. In the shortest terms possible, I used CRU to trick my computer into thinking that my native 4K display is a native 1080P display, so that I could use DSR to decrease input latency and actually display some unsupported resolutions.

This is my comprehensive WikiHow guide on the subject. Niche use cases for DSR and related display fuckery are in the last couple steps, and the 'Tips' section at the bottom. If you spot any incorrect information, or have anything I could add, please speak up!
