Where is it not smooth? Is it skipping frames? http://testufo.com/#test=frameskipping

RE: overcloking P2815Q
Desktop Mode: 2560x1440/24bpp @ 60 Hz vertical Refresh Rate.

CPU Count: 8
GL Renderer: ATI Technologies Inc. AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series v4.5.13456 Compatibility Profile Context 21.19.160.512
GLFW_ACCELERATED: 1
GLFW_RED_BITS: 8
GLFW_GREEN_BITS: 8
GLFW_BLUE_BITS: 8
GLFW_ALPHA_BITS: 8
GLFW_DEPTH_BITS: 0
GLFW_STENCIL_BITS: 0
GLFW_REFRESH_RATE: 60
GLFW_FSAA_SAMPLES: 0

i think there is skipping frames, it's like the overcloking never work, it's the same as 30hz. There is a way to make it work ?

sorry for my bad english

thanks

Probably not. Frame skipping is a monitor limitation. Maybe try DisplayPort, or try running HDMI as single-link DVI by deleting the HDMI support data block in the extension block, but then the driver needs to be patched: https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Threa...ck-Patcher

RE: overcloking P2815Q
thx for your help

with displayport/displayport 1.2 and hdmi it's the same issue. my display recognize in his osd 1440P 60HZ but in fact on the screen it's 30hz.

I have done everythink
-1) pixelclock patcher then restart
2) adding custom resolution and refresh rate on cru then restart.

there is people who have made it work with cru T_T

That means the video card is sending 60 Hz, so there's nothing you can do on the computer's end. There's no way to work around a monitor limitation with software.

They probably didn't test it. I've seen people claim certain monitors will overclock when it turns out the monitors skip frames. This should be obvious just by looking, but some people can't see it.
