I tried adding a 1920x1080P resolution via CRU, and all i got was a black screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Laptop screens usually don't have scalers and can't display non-native resolutions without GPU scaling. Unfortunately, GPU scaling normally uses a blurry algorithm. NVIDIA and Intel recently implemented integer scaling for newer GPUs, but it might not be supported with your hardware.

For example i seen it in some Sony, Acer, hp, fujitsu siemens. then it scale any resolutions. Sometime you need unlock this feature with bios mod. |
